Dang graduating from college is intense (aka I haven’t been keeping up with my goal of posting once a week for like 2 months). So here are da May Favorites.
Graduating from St. Thomas
It’s a bit surreal. A 4-year habit broken. I don’t think it will totally hit me until September when everyone is gearing up for school and I am just working… hopefully. So happy to have graduated with such great friends from a place I love. But anyway, the graduation festivities were a blast. I’m all moved out of my house and back at home with my parents. We’ll see how long this lasts (jk it’s not that bad). Which leads me to my next favorite…
Job Interviews/Job Search
Okay so they’re not technically a “favorite” but I just have been thinking about them A LOT and have had a total of 3 this month. (I WANT A JOB). I can’t wait to be real. Fingers, toes, eyes, everything crossed, yo.
Short Hair
So I cut my hair like T-Swizzle (Taylor Swift). I showed my hair stylist a picture of her and everything. I am loving the short hair. It’s so much easier to deal with.
Versa Spray Tan (lol)
So for graduation a few friends and I decided to get spray tans. This is probably something I swore I would never do, but when you have a $10 Groupon and it’s graduation – YOLO. I was terrified when I stepped into the booth thing. I felt like I was going to be sucked into a time capsule or something (is that a thing?). It took everything in me to press the button and get it over with. The results were pretty good, I have to say. I got the lightest tan possible and the Versa is supposed to be the best way to do it. Also, people are really nice at tanning salons. We went to Darque Tan and were such newbs but the girls were so patient and nice. The only thing is that now that it’s fading, I have weird splotches on my arms.
FitBit
I got a FitBit Flex for my birthday and became obsessed with meeting my daily step and active minute goals. Unfortunately however, it fell off a few days ago and is no where to be found. I’m in the process of trying to see if I can get a new one through their customer service because there were a lot of angry comments on their Facebook from others about their FitBit’s falling off.
Twinning’s Chai Tea K Cups
Tea of the month. I put French Vanilla coffee creamer in it and it tastes even better than a chai from Starbucks — and no sugar!
L’ Oreal Butterfly Mascara
I haven’t tried a new mascara in 3 years. This was recommended by TrulyJess so I ventured out to get it. The first day I had it on someone asked if I was wearing fake eyelashes (ew no) so I’d say it’s pretty good.
