Oh… October. Hey.
OKAYOKAYOKAY I’ve been majorly slacking on this blog. 2 posts in the last 3 months? That’s lame, man. I didn’t start this to gain a million followers and become famous (lolz). I did it for fun and as part of a personal improvement project for practicing writing, sticking to a goal, and other creative funtivities. I did okay for a while, then completely fell out of the tree (not a real saying, but I have fallen out of a tree). So let’s try this again.
I’m doing the October Blogging Challenge so I will be blogging every day in October. I’m pretty excited to see how this goes.
So without further adieu, I give you…
October 1st: Goals for the Month of October
1. Complete the October Blogging Challenge – WITHOUT skipping or missing a day.
2. Be happy/content with my career/job situation by the end of the month. Meh. Fingers crossed.
3. Eat healthy – this is a continuous goal for me as I always eat relatively healthy and clean foods. However, I’ve made it a point to eat way more protein and try to build a little bit of muscle (I like to pronounce the “c” ). I gotta blog my multiple recipes for protein pancakes mmmm.
4. Finish a 10k in 1 hour – I’m doing a 10k race on October 11th and my goal is to finish it in 1 hour. That might not seem very fast (10 minute miles), but I’m not a runner by trade. I like to run, but it’s challenging for me, mentally.
Aaand that’s it. Bring on the changing leaves. Also, can we skip Halloween this year?
